Vodafone Romania launches the Vodafone Internet on Mobile service, which offers customers faster and easier access to the Internet, on their mobile, as well as enriched content.
This is another step to sustain Vodafone’s strategy on mobile data services following the successful launch of Vodafone Mobile Connect new offerings.

Anywhere in the Vodafone Romania network coverage, customers can connect to the Internet directly on their mobile phones to access their favorite websites, to send and receive e-mails or to chat with their friends, at very advantageous prices. With a new optimised interface, Vodafone Internet on Mobile allows customers to replicate on their handsets what they can do on their computer. Vodafone Internet on Mobile addresses all consumer and business customers and is available on all Vodafone postpaid price plans as well as Vodafone’s prepaid service offer.

With an intuitive, web-like design, Vodafone live! portal – the gate to the Internet from the mobile phone - brings an extended content and services offer, which completes the information and entertainment offer already existing in the portal. The portal now includes direct links to more than 40 local and international websites, which users can access on their mobile phones, as easy as on their computer, as well as a dedicated address input field helping them to start surfing the net.

With Vodafone Internet on Mobile, Vodafone Romania customers have direct access, from Vodafone live!, to Yahoo messenger & Mail, to the most popular internet search engine, as well as to online communities. The new offer also includes customised news and information websites, one of the most popular Romanian job search website, tourist guides and ticket booking, entertainment and spare time guides, blogs and many other online content stores (see attached Fact Sheet for the complete list of the partners).

Pricing
Vodafone Internet on Mobile brings both contract customers and prepaid users great value pricing for browsing the internet and the mobile portal. All customers can opt for either a EUR 4 monthly tariff or a EUR 0.20 access fee per session:
- The EUR 4 monthly tariff (VAT not included) provides customers with unlimited browsing in Vodafone live! and up to 500 MB* free traffic on any other websites.
- Customers can also choose accessing the Internet per session, for a EUR 0.20 fee (VAT not included), allowing the access to any website, including Vodafone live! portal. The traffic in Vodafone live! is free of charge, while the traffic on other websites will be charged with EUR 0.40 / MB (VAT not included).
- Promotionally, Vodafone Romania contract customers have free unlimited access to the Internet, for the first two months.

Handsets
Vodafone Internet on Mobile is available to our customers on any Vodafone live! compatible handset as well as on any model provided with an Internet browser. Vodafone Romania customers can benefit from a wide range of mobile phones allowing them to access the Internet, beginning with the most simple ones like Nokia 2630, Samsung E250, Samsung J700, to the top experience devices such as: Nokia N95 8GB, Sony Ericsson W910, Nokia N81, Sony Ericsson K850. Best selling models include: Nokia N73, Nokia 2630, Nokia 6234, Sony Ericsson V640i, Samsung J700.

Activation & Access control
Starting today, Vodafone customers can activate Vodafone Internet on Mobile service in any Vodafone store or Vodafone dealers shops. Vodafone subscribers can also activate the service directly from their mobile phone, by calling free of charge at *live (*5483) or through MyVodafone web self care service. Together with Vodafone Internet on Mobile, Vodafone also introduces parental control solution, which can be used to protect minors from unsuitable content. Any Vodafone customer can operate the access limitation directly from the mobile phone (in Vodafone live! portal), by calling Customer Operations or in a Vodafone store.
